Coach & Owner

Lauren has been part of the CrossFit community since 2014 and brings a thoughtful, safety-first approach to coaching at Yuba City CrossFit. Outside of the gym, she works as a NICU nurse, which strongly influences how she approaches movement, scaling, and long-term health.

“I care a lot about people feeling safe, supported, and confident in what they’re doing.”

Lauren believes that fitness should feel approachable and sustainable. Her coaching style focuses on proper movement, intentional scaling, and helping people feel comfortable pushing themselves at their own pace.

“You don’t have to do everything perfectly. You just have to show up and keep moving forward.”

Over the years, Lauren has coached people of all ages and experience levels. She enjoys helping members build confidence, learn new skills, and find joy in movement, whether they’re brand new to CrossFit or have years of experience.

“Confidence comes from understanding what you’re doing and knowing you’re supported.”

Lauren values the sense of community that CrossFit creates and believes the gym should be a place where people feel welcomed, encouraged, and cared for.

“The gym should be a place you feel good walking into, no matter where you’re starting from.”

Outside of coaching, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and continuing to learn ways to support both physical and mental well-being. She brings empathy, patience, and consistency to every class she coaches.

At the heart of Lauren’s approach is helping people feel capable, safe, and supported, inside and outside the gym.
