I found YCCF July 2013. I had been a runner for several years and had also been weight lifting at a local gym. I wanted a change to my routine so I attended a Saturday class and was hooked. I enrolled in basic training and regularly attended training sessions.
About one month into my crossfit experience I found out I was pregnant with my second child. With the encouragement from my coach and clearance from my doctor, I continued with my training. I was able to make necessary modifications when needed and had a wonderful pregnancy. I even did a wod the day I went into labor. Healthy baby was born and about 2 weeks later I was gradually getting back into my workouts.
The coaches and community of athletes at YCCF are an amazing group of people. Very positive and goal oriented. I couldn’t be happier.
