As a Physical Education instructor, I particularly enjoy working with individuals who may have gotten away from athletics for a while and want to get back into it, as well as those who just know they need to get moving to stay active and vital as they get older.

I am a lifelong fitness enthusiast, a former distance runner, triathlete and a dedicated Crossfitter.  Although my training regimens continually called for weight-based training in support of my endurance activities, I hated the environment of gyms, hated being inside for my workouts and found the workouts generally boring so I avoided them.  In 2012 I completed a 70.3 Ironman Triathlon, during the months training for it I injured myself.  I went to see a doctor that recommended I try CrossFit to heal my injuries.  The CrossFit workouts are challenging mentally and physically, but the community and overall feeling of support are what makes CrossFit unique.

Through CrossFit I’ve uncovered the best I can be…Through individual competition and daily WODs with my peers and the satisfaction of coaching others.  I love the CrossFit community, I cherish the friendships I’ve made and I value my accomplishments.  CrossFit is a rewarding journey full of applicable life lessons and personal enrichment fitting for any individual with any limitations, of any age!
